Today is Thanksgiving in the United States, which means it's time for three things…
1) A gigantic THANK-YOU to our backers!
Seriously, we can't possibly express our gratitude for you being here.
Every pledge, every comment, every message, every social media like and share, every follow…It all means the world to us.
Indie publishing is a lot of work, and we are humbled and grateful to say with 200% honesty that people like YOU make it the greatest joy of our lives.
It's our honor to publish comics, illustrated novels, novellas, and more for you. With your support, we'll keep doing it for as long as we possibly can.

We've been publishing comics anthologies for five years now, and with every single collection we put together, we are absolutely floored by the overwhelming amount of creativity, talent, inspiration, and skill that indie creators send our way.

It's time to get to know another creator with work appearing in the DESTINATIONS Anthology! This week, we're proud to present…
James Wayne Johnson, Writer of "Bloom Squad"!
James Wayne Johnson is a writer, stand-up comedian, and ardent music fan. His ongoing comic, Bloom Squad, has appeared serially in Oneshi Press Anthologies 9-12. Its fourth installment will debut in the Destinations Anthology! We talked to James about his exploits in comics, comedy, horror films, fiction, and more!
We’re up to Part 4 of Bloom Squad in the Destinations Anthology, and things are heating up for your characters! Can we get a quick summary of the story so far, for those who haven’t read it yet?
Bloom Squad takes place in a world similar to our own, except that for reasons which remain unclear, a few select people have developed telepathy.
As you might imagine, a good number of these people are using their new ability for their own personal, selfish gain, so it’s in their best interest to keep it a secret. These new telepaths have quickly risen to power in politics, sports, and other enterprises, some criminal.
Feeling Small is an exploration in scale through pin-up art. When Daniel Hooker sat down to begin drawing this book, he wanted to take a look at the world from a different perspective. Each original character is created under the idea of living in a world that feels larger than life. You'll love coloring this diverse batch of characters, imagining them moving through a world that barely notices them!

Hey there, Destinations Seeker!
Today, we felt like taking a closer look at one of the comics inside DESTINATIONS…
"The Red Thread" by Avery Rawlins
In this short comic written, illustrated, and lettered by Avery Rawlins, there's a clear line between what's safe and what's scary…
But for one woman living on the "safe" side of things, the "scary" side looks pretty inviting.
And more than that, someone on the other side seems to feel the same way.
What will she do? There's only way to find out…
Fun Fact!
Creator Avery Rawlins originally submitted it to us for consideration in our last anthology—Becoming.
We were absolutely devastated that we didn't have room for the comic in that book, because we loved it so much!
So, when we opened submissions for DESTINATIONS and realized that "The Red Thread" fit that theme even better…we wrote to Avery to encourage them to resubmit their 9-page comic.
And we were thrilled to accept it into DESTINATIONS!
We're sure you'll love it just as much as we do.
About Avery Rawlins
Avery Rawlins (they/them) is a comic creator and illustrator based in the Pacific Northwest. They make work about monsters, magic, gender, and queer love. When they are not drawing, which is more often than they would like, they are reading, painting minis for DnD, and trying, abandoning, and reattempting, crochet. Until comics can be beamed out of their head by futuristic lasers, they will continue to draw them the old-fashioned way.
To save their community, a crew of lowly monsters set out on a fool’s errand: To destroy a powerful undead wizard with the hopes of stopping the never-ending stream of murderous, glory-hunting adventurers trampling through their homes.
Get Lich or Die Trying is a fantasy/comedy comic steeped in tabletop gaming lore that is sure to appeal to fans of Coda or Rat Queens with enough laughs to hook the Rock Candy Mountain and I Hate Fairyland crowd. “Get Lich or Die Trying” is fantasy story-telling filled on its head. It’s Lord of the Rings told through the eyes of the orc,” says series co-writer Kevin Cuffe. "We are putting a fresh coat of paint on a very classic and time-tested adventure," says co-writer Bob Frantz.
