Hello there, DESTINATIONS backer!
We are pleased to report that funds from the DESTINATIONS campaign have landed in our account, and we are starting to send out surveys today!
Here's what happens next…
Today: The Smoke Test
We're using BackerKit, a third-party fulfillment aid, to send out the all-important backer surveys. Their system requires that before we send all surveys, we perform a smoke test, which sends out a small percentage of surveys, 48 hours ahead of the rest.
That way, we can identify and work out any bugs in our survey system.
So, a few of you will receive your surveys in the next two days. It would be fabulous if you could get them completed quickly, so we can discover if we need to fix anything!
Friday: All Surveys Out
After the smoke test wraps up on Thursday, we will send out the rest of the surveys to all our amazing backers this Friday, December 30!
You'll have two weeks to complete surveys before we finalize our thank-you page on the website and in the Destinations Anthology. That means we'll need you survey completed by end of day on Friday,January 13!
What's In a Survey?
Backer surveys are one of the most important parts of the Kickstarter experience!
They help us finalize our item counts, make sure we've got the correct address to send your rewards to, and offer you the opportunity to grab any additional items you like from our BackerKit store!
Surveys only take about three minutes, and your answers are kept 100% confidential using BackerKit's vault-like security.
Add-On Store
If there was an item you saw on the DESTINATIONS campaign that you wanted, but didn't grab on Kickstarter, now's your chance! Original art by Pink Pitcher, beautiful art prints, commissions by Jayel Draco, lots of other comics and books, and more will all be available in the BackerKit add-on store.
That's it for now! Remember, keep an eye on your e-mail inbox for your backer survey! And thanks again for backing DESTINATIONS!
Safe & swift,
—Your friends at Oneshi Press, Lynsey & Jayel

A wonderful young imprint of Enchanted Lion publishing, Unruly launched in 2020, that we know will flourish, if it can but take root.
We come to you in search of support for Unruly because we have a stunning and inspiring lineup of books. Revealingly, all but one of the books we've identified for Unruly will be in translation, for the reason that the kinds of picture books we are proposing are already being published in many parts of the world. Our aim is to give readers here more of the risky, challenging, complex kinds of adult picture books that are already being created, published and read elsewhere. In our line-up we have books coming from Spain, France, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Sweden.

Meet Erin Ptah, Creator of "The Traveler"!

Well hello again, DESTINATIONS seeker!
Now that the campaign has ended, we want to be sure we're keeping you entertained AND informed about the status of the anthology!
So, here's a status update:
Your cards are in the process of being charged by Kickstarter! Please keep an eye on your emails and notifications. If there's a problem with your card, Kickstarter will be trying diligently to reach you to update your information over the next few days.
Once all cards are charged, Kickstarter will process the payments and send it the funding on to us, probably right around Christmas.
And here's a creator interview!
Erin Ptah is a humanist cartoonist who likes magic, time travel, and making her characters suffer. She lives in a swing state with a storage room full of sketchbooks and a very needy cat. She is the creator of the long-running webcomics And Shine Heaven Now, But I’m A Cat Person, and Leif & Thorn. Her short comic, “The Traveler” is set in the world of Leif & Thorn. It will appear in the Destinations Anthology from Oneshi Press.
Here's a nibble from our interview with Erin, which you can read in full on our blog:
We’re here to talk about “The Traveler,” your comic in the upcoming Destinations Anthology! Tell us about the inspiration for this piece.
I love a good time-travel story. Stuck in a time loop, traveling back to do things differently and change the future, traveling back to protect things so you get the same future—it’s all good.
The prompt of “destinations” got me thinking about how time travel multiplies the question of “where are you going?” with “also, when are you going?” And if you’re visiting the past, you can blow up your ability to ever get back to the same future you came from.
That's it for now! We'll be back soon with more info for you!
Safe & Swfit,
—Your friends at Oneshi Press, Jayel & Lynsey
Here's Another Project We Love…
In a world where anyone could be born with superpowers, genomes are viewed as walking weapons… supervillains waiting to happen. Cast out of society and forgotten, they are forced into Greenzones, and packed into super powered ghettos called “the Blocks.”
The only hope for a better life is the Genome Citizenship Accords of 1968, which state “any genome that proves their worth by serving the greater good for a period of no less than five consecutive years, may earn their citizenship, right to vote, and right to own property…”
So, if you want to claw your way out of the blocks, and get a chance for a better life, you have to risk it all in either the military, fire department, or the police force. This is the story of three new recruits to the police force on their first shift in the G-unit.

We did it, friends!
With YOUR support, we ended our campaign at 206% funded with 187 backers! We'll be planting 187 trees as soon as our funding comes in!
We can't possibly thank you enough for making this campaign such a success, but we can sure as heck try!
So, with that in mind, here's a link to our BackerKit Preorder Store!
If you had your eye on Pink Pitcher's gorgeous original watercolor pages from "Summit," you can grab them there!
There's also an absolute mountain of other fabulous add-ons for you to peruse, from comics to art to merch to music and beyond!
Now, let's talk about…
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Now that the campaign's over, here's what to expect:
- 12/8 - 12/22 - Kickstarter will start charging credit cards immediately, and will continue cycling through for the next two weeks. So, if there's a problem with the card you have on file, you'll have some time to update the information and try again!
- 12/23 - 1/9 - As soon as the funds from Kickstarter land in our account, we'll send out backer surveys! You'll have about two weeks to complete them, so we can finalize item counts and get all the info we need to send your goodies out!
- 1/9 - 1/27 - Once surveys are in, we'll place orders with our manufacturers, then give it some time for everything to come to us. During this time, we'll also send out digital rewards!
- 1/30 - 2/13 - Fulfillment time! Oneshi Press HQ will be buzzing with packing and shipping out orders!
- 2/13 - 2/24 - US shipping
- 2/13 - 3/13- International shipping
Of course, all of these dates are approximate. It all depends on how quickly our funding lands in our account, how long it takes for our orders to be shipped to us, whether there are any disruptions on the supply chain, etc.
But don't worry! We'll stay in touch about any changes in our schedule, so you'll know what's happening at every stage of the process!
And you can be sure that we want to get these books into your hands as soon as possible, so we'll be pushing hard to be as efficient as we possibly can!
Stay tuned for updates here, and in the meantime…
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Safe & Swift,
—Your friends at Oneshi Press, Jayel & Lynsey
